Leon Speakers Axis Series

Custom high-fidelity speaker manufacturer Leon Speakers is expanding its Axis Series of in-ceilings with two new models. The company’s new AX-V5 and AX-V6 speakers will debut at CEDIA in September.

A small form factor design gives the Axis Series the ability to offer both versatility and fidelity. Both the AX-V5 and AX-V6 models measure less than 3.5-inches deep, which allows them to be used as in-ceiling and in-wall installations. They are available with 5-inch and 6-inch drivers and 1-inch Tetron-woven tweeters to provide a full range, yet detailed soundstage. Leon Speakers claims every screw, cone, grill and bevel is designed to produce lifelike sound with the least amount of diffraction, offering a high-fidelity audio experience from an unobtrusive custom-installed speaker.

Each speaker comes with a round and square grill to accommodate a wide variety of room designs. The grill can be custom painted in-house to match any wall color or paint code. Each speaker also features an EQ switch to tailor the sound to the room surfaces, placement, and desired balance. A specifically formulated, rubber dampening finish on the baffle minimizes coloration.

Leon’s new Axis Series V5 and V6 speakers will be available beginning in the fourth quarter of this year. The Axis AX-V5 will be priced at $350 each, and the Axis AX-V6 for $425. More information can be found at the Leon Speakers web site.
