Polk’s Performance Line-Up features four “UltraFit” headphones in a variety of styles and colors, including in-ear, on-ear, and in-ear canal models. The headphones are water resistant, have contrast-colored cables for easy left/right recognition, and feature Kevlar-reinforced hinge points. Polk is also introducing two “UltraFocus” active noise cancelation models.
The company’s LSiM home audio speaker series comes in a full range of tower, bookshelf, center, and surround channel models. Polk hopes to offer three-dimensional sound with accurate tonal and temporal response at all frequencies. The lineup features two four-way, floor-standing towers with state-of-the-art transducers and Polk’s Dynamic Balance design and high-performance drivers.
Polk’s latest SurroundBar model, the 7-channel CHT 500 Component Home Theater, is only 1 1/2-inches deep, but features three 3/4-inch ring radiator tweeters (most often found in top-of-the-line floor-standing or bookshelf models). The CHT 500 is driven by an external SDA Control Module, which includes Polk’s Stereo Dimension Array surround technologies and all of the crossover components. The SurroundBar will ship with a wall bracket and two shelf cradles, as well as a rack-mountable connectivity module. The system also includes a 15-foot multi-conductor cable.
