Home Automation, Inc. (HAI)  controllers can now be integrated with ZigBee and Z-Wave wireless door locks. Owners of HAI’s Omni or Lumina home control systems can now lock and unlock up to 16 doors from HAI Ethernet Touchscreens. Users will also be able to control locks through key fobs, or remotely via Apple or Android devices. HAI systems can also be configured to automatically set lighting, music, and temperature based on the state of locked or unlocked doors.

ZigBee and Z-Wave lock integration should be available in January 2012, and will be compatible with all Ethernet-enabled Omni and Lumina controllers, including Omni Pro II, Omni IIe, Lumina Pro, and Lumina utilizing firmware version 3.10 or later.

The lock integration will be compatible with products from Kwikset, Yale, and Schlage. ZigBee integration has been tested on Black & Decker Kwikset SmartCode locks. Z-Wave integration has been verified on the KwikSet SmartCode entry set, Yale Evolution deadbolt, and Schlage Z-Wave deadbolt locks.
