Amidst all of the bosoms and abs and fluffy, adorable critters that starred in this year’s slate of Super Bowl ads, only a couple of consumer electronics companies sprung for the record-breaking $3.5 million worth of thirty-second airtime.

Best Buy kept it short and sweet with this homage to technological innovators:
