Samsung Takes the Lead over Sony in TV Shoppers’ Brand Preference

Colleague Stephen Silver reveals in an article at our sister site Dealerscope that potential TV buyers prefer Samsung as a brand over all others:

Samsung has taken the top spot in ABI Research’s rankings in consumer purchase intent for the U.S. Sony previously had a “commanding lead” in the survey, ABI said.

When customers interested in buying a new HDTV were asked which brand they preferred, 20 percent answered Samsung, followed by Sony (19 percent), LG (12 percent) and Vizio (11 percent.)
