Twilight Time, the Screen Archives boutique label, specializes in limited edition Blu-ray releasess of popular, but niche titles on Blu-ray, and one of their bigger titles is about to go the way of the dodo. All Twilight Time editions are limited to 3000 copies, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. And all the discs are exclusive to the label for three years, so they’re gone for a good while.

The 1959 Pat Boone film Journey to the Center of the Earth, loosely based on the Jules Verne novel, is considered a classic, and the master obtained from Fox for this Twilight Time edition was created from black and white color separations from the original negative. So if you like the film, and want it on Blu-ray anytime prior to 2015 (assuming that Fox will even want to release it themselves), get your credit card to the Twilight Time Website post hast, before it’s too late. Previous sellouts include the horror classic Fright Night, and likely soon, the Academy Award winner As Good As It Gets.
