The BD32 is based around a multi-function Wi-Fi 3D Blu-ray player and a 1100 Watt surround sound amplifier. It includes two front channel speakers, a center channel speaker, two rear channel speakers, and a 250 Watt powered subwoofer. The typical audio features are here, including Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD, Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II, and Virtual 3D sound. Pioneer also includes their Advanced Sound Retriever technology, which enhances compressed audio files. Speaker connections are color coded for fool-proof setup.
In addition to 3D Blu-ray and DVD capability, you also get AVC, SACD, and CD playback. The BD32 has 2 HDMI inputs and includes 1080p upscaling. Wi-Fi is also on board, and the BD32 is DLNA 1.5 compliant. Bluetooth capability is available as a separate add-on. YouTube, Picasa, Netflix, and Pandora are included, along with an iPod/iPhone dock, front USB connection, and a Karaoke function.
The HTZ-BD32 should be hitting you favorite retailer this month for around $499.
