Pioneer Electronics has released the new Elite A-20 integrated amplifier for those who like their music with two channels, thank you very much.  The analog-only A-20 has six inputs, but can be paired with Pioneer’s Elite networked audio players (the N-30 or N-50) to bring your digital and network sources to the party.

The A-20 uses a Direct Energy design that aims to shorten the signal paths and power train to minimize signal loss and interference.  The power supply is placed strategically to reproduce cleaner audio with a reduced total harmonic distortion of less than 0.05%.  Unwanted vibrations is dampened with a trans-stabilizer construction chassis design and the front and side aluminum panels strengthen the A-20, while adding some good looks.

With six inputs, the A-20 is designed to bring a variety of sources in, including Tuner, SACD/CD, Aux, Network, Recorder, and an MM phono input.  The amplifier remote can also control the basic functions of Pioneer’s network audio players.  The A-20 can push 50 Watts per channel through it’s A/B speaker outputs.

The Pioneer Elite A-20 integrated amplifier is available now for a suggested retail price of $300.
