A lot of people didn’t like Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, but no one can argue that the Blu-ray doesn’t have really great extras, the highlight of which is the 80+ minute documentary on the making of the film. Like Laurent Bouzereau’s other work on Spielberg’s movies, it’s a comprehensive and meticulous look into the genesis and production of the film.
The original Blu-ray featured a full second disc for supplemental material, but when packed in with its brethren it seems that’s not to be. Instead, the extras are being squished to fit on on one disc with the movie. Of course, you still have three great Indy movies to enjoy and a brand new Raiders documentary waiting for you, and if you really want the doc you can probably pick up the original Blu pretty cheap post Tuesday.
The Complete (for now) Adventures of Indiana Jones streets on Blu-ray on Tuesday, September 18th, and you can still catch Raiders of the Lost Ark in IMAX through FridayIndiana Jones: The Complete Adventures [Blu-ray]
