If you’re lucky enough to be in Kansas City (either of them) and have signed up for Google Fiber, your TV offerings just got better. If you haven’t already checked out what El Goog has to offer those lucky few, it’s pretty impressive. Aside from the fact of putting gigabit access into your freaking house, you get their set top box, a 2TB network storage box, integrated Wi-Fi, and a Nexus 7 tablet to use as a remote. It’s a pretty sweet deal, with the Gigabit + TV plan starting at $120.

Google has made the deal even better by adding some new channels, mostly from the Disney-ABC Television Group and ESPN, including ABC Family, ABC News Now, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Disney XD, ESPN, ESPN Buzzer Beater, ESPN Classic, ESPN Deportes, ESPN Goal Line, ESPN2, ESPNews, ESPNU, Longhorn Network, Ovation, SOAPnet, TBN, TBN Enlace, and Velocity.  Google Fiber Senior Project Manager, Larry Yang, says that Google will continue to add channels over time.

Tack these on to the over 200 channels already available, including Showtime and Starz (available for additional fees), and Google Fiber definitely has the clout to be a legitimate cable or satellite replacement.  Especially for those, that, you know, live in Kansas City.
