The Terminator Is Back (Remastered!) In February

Released in September overseas, the long-hungered-for remastering of The Terminator will finally be bringing its Uzi 9mm s to bear on US shores on February 19. The disc will contain all of the features of the original MGM special edition DVD, a remastering featurette, and otherwise should be identical to the overseas versions. For those wondering, the original mono track without the changed sound FX will not be included, but the disc will include a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track.

The Terminator is the film that made Avatar director James Cameron and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger the big stars they are today. A worldwide phenomenon, the film has spawned three sequels, a television series, and countless books, games, and other tie-in merchandise
