CES 2013: Samsung Unveiling the New Shape of TV

Samsung has posted a mysterious video to YouTube teasing a new TV that is supposed to have a “radical new shape,” according to previous reports we’ve heard. Given that the new TV is still under wraps — literally — in its debut video, it’s hard to say much about that shape, though.

We do know, though, that Samsung’s Smart Hub is set for a massive overhaul that’s bound to come with this mysterious new set. And the screen shape is apparently still 16:9 once the panel is illuminated, so we’re not looking at an radical aspect ratio changes here. We’ve seen some crazy theories, including a portrait-oriented screen, but that doesn’t seem to be substantiated by the video at all. I guess we’ll all have to wait until next week to find out!
