Sorry about the capitalization of that headline, but bēm wireless (pronounced beem, because of the macron on top of the e. You’ve always wondered what that thing was called, haven’t you? You’re welcome) seems averse to uppercase letters. As evidence: its new speaker trio, a truly wireless three speaker multiroom audio system that has just started shipping.
All joking about capitalization aside, the speaker trio is a nifty little gadget for those who’ve bought into the promise of wireless music streaming, only to find that a mains connection was still required at the receiving end. bēm’s new system does away with that by providing a charging cradle for its three speaker cubes, which you can carry around with you from room to room for up to six hours before having to charge them again.
The wireless range of the speakers is up to 120 feet, with control range being a slightly more restricting 25 feet, via Bluetooth, directly from your phone or tablet.
Other specs for the system are as follows:
- Conductive wireless charging
- Aux in and out
- Auto pair capable
- Touch-sensitive buttons
- Bottom glow lighting
- Soft-touch finish
- Approximate Size of 3 speakers on base: 18” x 7” x 6”
- Approximate Size of 1 speaker: 6” x 6” x 6”
