Epson has launched its first two products as a member of the HDBaseT Alliance, with two new projectors making their debut at ISE in Amsterdam. The two projectors, the EB-G6900WU and EB-G6800, allow long-distance full HD video distribution over simple Cat-5e/6 cabling, enabling installers to distribute high quality video over low-cost cable.  The addition of Epson to the HDBaseT Alliance adds to the ever growing list of mainstream manufacturers supplying HDBaseT-enabled devices.

Both projectors sport a 5000:1 contrast ratio, horizontal and vertical lens shift, and clock in at around 21 pounds.  There are also six different lens choices, including a rear throw option.  The G6900WU is a 6,000 lumen model with a native 1920×1080 resolution.  The G6800 sports 7,000 lumens at XGA 1024×768 resolution.

Both projectors are of course aimed at the commercial installation market.
