Some of you may remember my love/not-love relationship with Bowers & Wilkins’ MM-1 computer speakers. Loved the fidelity and high-end sparkle; didn’t love the lack of oomh and high-volume dynamics. I really, really loved the industrial design of the speakers, though, which made the company’s new AirPlay equipped A7 wireless music system particularly appealing to me. The A7 sports the same metal-capped monolothic design, the same discreet controls, the same luxurious simplicity as the MM-1, but all in a significantly larger, unified cabinet with a built-in six-inch sub for some extra bottom end.
