D-Link AC1200 Dual Band Gigabit Cloud RouterFor those that like to live on the cutting edge of Wi-Fi connectivity, D-Link has introduced the Wireless AC1200 Dual Band Gigabit Cloud Router (DIR-850L) with cloud sharing and 802.11ac connectivity.  A member of D-Link’s Cloud Series of routers, the DIR-850L offers the added benefit of remote network management and remote file access via mydlink Cloud Services.

For the speed freaks out there, the 802.11ac Wi-Fi spec enables faster speeds that 802.11n, with a theoretical maximum of up to 1 gigabit per second.  Operating in the 5GHz band, the AC1200 delivers concurrent wireless dual-band speeds of up to 300 and 867Mbps, eliminating Wi-Fi interference for faster and more reliable Internet.  This should translate into better wireless speeds for seamless HD video streaming, online gaming, and file sharing.
