Clare Controls App

Clare Controls, a home automation provider, is giving its dealers a new avenue to communicate with their customers.

The Infostream will be integrated into the spring release of Clare’s control app, aptly named the Clare Controls App.  As a piece of a larger ClareHome installation (the company’s flagship product), the Infostream will be available with the touch of an icon within the app.  Utilizing this feature, dealers can communicate directly with their customers, delivering customized and personalized content to the end user.  An indicator will pop up within the app, letting the user know that new content is available.

The Infostream is the first and only product of its kind that is built into a home automation system.  ClareHome’s Spring Release will give Clare Partners the option to redirect the Infostream link to any RSS feed they choose, on a project-by-project basis.  This would allow them to give their customers easy access to their own blogs or social media feeds, for instance, to deliver key product and/or marketing messages.

More important, perhaps, is the value-add it presents Clare Controls Builder’s Program participants.  In the Program, Clare Partners collaborate with builders of mainstream houses to include Clare systems in every new home they build.  Clare Partners can direct the Infostream link to their builders’ feeds, allowing them to stay in touch with their customers with built-in access to their communities’ activities and events calendars, bulletin boards, customer service departments, etc.

Clare will host a series of webinars to teach its dealers and partners how to best leverage this new channel.
