Jeff O’Heir at Dealerscope has the deets on Bang & Olufsen’s new H6 and H3 headphones:
The H6 is B&O’s first over-ear model sine the company introduced its U-70 series back in the late 1970s. With over-ear models making up about 30 percent of the market today and in-ears making up roughly 70 percent, Dave Zapfel, B&O product manager, said it made business sense to enter those markets.
B&O will begin selling the new lines in its retail and online stores, as well as Apple stores, in July, followed by distribution through select retailers.
Gizmodo also has a post encapsulating their first-impressions of the H6, including thoughts on the comfort of its sheepskin-covered memory foam earpads, the lightweight aluminum casing, and the sound quality, backed up by plenty of pictures and annotations.
