I popped Cloud Atlas into my Blu-ray player for the first time last Thursday, and the minute it ended I had to fight the urge to press Play again. Only the fact that it was 11:30pm kept me from doing so, but no such impediment stood between me and two additional viewings this weekend. I can, without hesitation, say that the film has earned a new place in my Top Five favorite films.
Of course, I cannot promise that you’ll love it as much. In fact, Cloud Atlas seems like a love-it-or-hate-it affair (EntertainmentTell’s Steve Anderson seems to be in the “love-it” camp based on his Blu-ray review).
