JVC Mobile Entertainment’s “DRVN” Lineup Include Two 12-Inch Subwoofers

JVC’s DRVN CS-GD1210 is a 12-inch dual-voice coil subwoofer.

LAS VEGAS, NV – JVC Mobile Entertainment has two 12-inch subwoofers in its DRVN (pronounced /’drivən/) product series for 2013. Now in it’s third year, the “DRVN” series features a wide array of car audio products with distinctive cosmetic designs and high-quality sound.

The two 12-inch DRVN subwoofers include one single voice coil and one dual voice coil model. Each woofer features a 3D structure and Olefin diagram, which aids in higher power handling and less distortion.

Also included is an aggressive design gasket, a long stroke, vented pole yoke for better heat dissipation, and large strontium motor magnet. Each subwoofer is optimally suited for smaller space saving enclosures ranging from .75 cubic feet to 1.5 cubic feet.

The CS-GD1210 is a dual voice coil 12-inch subwoofer with 1400-watt peak power handling and 400-watt RMS power handling featuring a 62 ounce strontium ferrite magnet, butyl rubber surround for additional cone movement and control, and silver-plated 8AWG ready terminals. It is due to be shipping in April with a price of $139.95.

The CS-G1210 single voice coil 12-inch subwoofer features 1200-watt peak power handling with 250-watt RMS power handling. It also features a heat-resistant gasket, a 39 ounce strontium ferrite magnet. Due to be shipping in April, it will carry a price of $99.95.
