I was able to get a little interior seat time in the 2014 Maserati Quattroporte at my local dealer this evening. They had a special event unveiling the vehicle. On hand were representatives from Bowers & Wilkins who were excited about the audio system. But these American counterparts to their British overlords had not even had a chance to listen to the new vehicle yet (most of the design was done in Europe).
We can say the turned-aluminium knobs that flank the large interior touchscreen are beautiful. There is some Chrysler-sourced switchgear, but nothing that looks out of place. Like the Dodge minivan head unit in the Ferrari California. However, the cupholders are espresso-sized small. They are being covered by a carbon fiber panel. But that leather scent- que bella!
