Los Angeles, CA – Krell Industries, a well respected manufacturer of high-end home audio systems, has announced that the 2014 Acura RLX will be the first car ever with a premium OEM audio system produced in collaboration with Krell.

“We’ve been in business for more than 30 years; we’re well known for making the highest-performance audio products for the home and we are excited to bring our sound quality to the automotive environment.” says Krell Industries President Bill McKiegan. McKiegan adds, “Every aspect of the system’s design was dissected and optimized to achieve a system that is sonically breathtaking.”

Designed to surpass any OEM car audio system on the market today, the main amplifier channels feature the same high-quality bipolar power transistors used in flagship Krell home amplifiers.

The speakers include six mid bass drivers made from Zylon – the world’s strongest super fiber, as well as lightweight magnesium cone tweeters. A dedicated 100-watt amplifer drives a carbon fiber composite subwoofer to reproduce bass frequencies cleanly.

The 2014 Acura RLX will be on display at the Los Angeles Auto Show, November 28 – December 9, 2012 allowing car enthusiasts and audio lovers to experience the sounds of a Krell Industries car audio system for the very first time.
