PowerBass L2 Speakers Were Developed for Factory Premium Systems

ONTARIO, CA – PowerBass USA has announced the introduction of a new series of speakers designed primarily as upgrades for OEM Premium sound systems.

The new L2 Coaxial Series will be available in the following popular sizes: 4×6”, 5-1/4”, 6.-1/2”, 6×8” and 6×9”. In addition three specialty sizes were developed, a 6×9” thin with a mounting depth of just under 2-inches and an oversized 7” Coaxial and 7” midrange speaker.

The new series will use an Injected PP (Poly Propylene) cone infused with carbon fiber, butyl rubber surround and non-resonant treated basket. A ¾” (19mm) ferrofluid enhanced Aluminum Dome tweeter is incorporated in all models except the midrange and 6×9” 3-way speakers.

Listener’s will appreciate the newly developed wave guide tweeter lens that provides smooth and uniform response giving more high frequency sound propagation over the upper audio range.

Unlike traditional factory speakers which range from 4-6 ohms nominal impedance, most premium sound systems are designed for speakers with an impedance of 2-ohms or less.

The suggested retail price range is from $67.00 to 107.99 for the nine new models. For more information visit
