I am interested in the next generation Mitsubishi Outlander and its standard seating for seven.  The lack of a third-row in most cute-utes makes mommies shun them for carpooling detail.  So they head right for the mastodons of the lot in the form of a Tahoe or Expedition.  When an Traverse or Explorer would make more sense.  With all of the negative press about Mitsu in the US financially, I want to see the ute’ be the underdog success story.  One thing that can help it: The 710 watt Rockford Fosgate system.  I tried one in the Lancer and it delivers smash-your-face-in bass.  Looking forward to seeing how it does in the Outlander.  And check this out if you would like one yourself for free. ..

All-New 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander Soars to New Heights with Discovery Channel’s SKYWIRE LIVE With Nik Wallenda Sweepstakes

Cypress, California, June 10, 2013 —

Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) announces today its role as exclusive presenting automotive sponsor for the live broadcast of SKYWIRE LIVE with Nik Wallenda airing live at 8:00 pm Eastern/5:00 pm Pacific, Sunday, June 23, 2013 on the Discovery Channel.

This dramatic live television spectacle airing in nearly 200 countries stars a seventh-generation member of the world-famous Flying Wallendas family, Nik Wallenda. The 34-year-old will traverse the majestic Grand Canyon without using a harness at 1,500 feet above the Little Colorado River, a height greater than the Empire State Building. The tightrope crossing will take place in a remote section of the canyon operated by the Navajo Nation Parks and Recreation. Wallenda holds numerous high wire act world records, including one for the longest and highest bike ride on a high wire. On June 15, 2012, this gravity-defying high wire artist became the first person to walk a tightrope crossing directly over Niagara Falls.

One lucky viewer will have the chance to win a brand-new 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander (arriving in dealerships this month) in SKYWIRE Sweepstakes running until 9:00 PM ET on June 23, 2013. To enter, visit skywire.discovery.com/#sweeps to access the sweepstakes entry form.
