Chevrolet will be showing off a number of new products at the 2012 L.A. Auto Show, including and updated MyLink infotainment system.
According to AutoGuide, the updates will make the MyLink system more advanced and will make it easier for drivers to pair smartphones with the system for a more integrated driving experience. The updated MyLink software is expected to debut in the 2014 Impala full-size sedan, AutoGuide said.
Among the improvements to be announced at the L.A. Auto Show include the ability to pair the MyLink system up with smartphone apps, which would allow the driver to integrate apps such as navigation from the phone into the car’s system. The MyLink system already available in some Chevrolet models currently will display your media, play your music, and of course allow you to take phone calls hands-free, according to Chevrolet.
