WASHINGTON, DC – MTX Audio and Polaris Industries unveiled their 2014 “Ground Pounder” RZR XP1000 at the Polaris 2013 Dealer Show in Washington DC on July 29th. The vehicle, a joint effort on behalf of Polaris and MTX Audio, was designed to showcase the “ultimate expression in off-road audio and video” supporting the new line of Audio Solutions by Polaris and MTX Audio.
Cyndie Nelson, MTX Audio’s OEM Innovations Group Manager, comments “the Polaris / MTX RZR is an incredible expression of creativity and performance. The design and build represent the same quality and serious innovation Polaris and MTX Audio are well known for.” The 2014 “Ground Pounder” RZR XP1000 was modified by Jason Planck, MTX Audio’s Master Builder and includes:

- (2) MTX THUNDER75.4 Amplifiers
- (4) MTX 5510-22 10-Inch Subwoofers
- (4) MTX TM6502WB-B 6.5-Inch Wakeboard Speakers
- (1) Pair MTX TM6502-B 6.5-Inch Thunder Marine Speakers
In addition to the high performance audio upgrades, the “Ground Pounder” RZR incorporates multiple video screens, an aftermarket source unit and camera system, LED lighting, and StreetWires wiring. Finishing touches include a custom hood, roof, subwoofer enclosure, door panels, and overhead console. The entire vehicle is finished with custom paint and graphics.
The Polaris Dealer event is a private event drawing over 3000 attendees from across the county for the reveal of Polaris’ 2014 Product Line. The “Ground Pounder” RZR will be on display at multiple events throughout the year for both Polaris and MTX Audio.
