Perhaps one of the coolest features of the technology package of the 2013 Honda Accord is HondaLink featuring Aha.  Aha is actually a Harman company that partnered with Honda.  Through Aha, you can access internet music and entertainment programming, location-based services, and, coolest of all- social media sites.  Right on your car stereo!

Downloading the HondaLink App on my iPhone was easy enough.  Once it is running it does take control of the iPhone while it is connected to the vehicle’s infotainment setup.  The user can choose a Bluetooth connection or a USB connection which is really nice.  BMW’s version of the services forces the user to connect via USB or an Apple connection, while Honda’s let you leave your phone in your pocket.  Much preferred on short trips.  Once I inputted my Facebook account, the car stereo was reading my status updates off of Facebook!  It can be controlled through a four-way button on the steering wheel.

Now, it might not be something you use all the time, but for Facebook addicts, this clearly is the way to fly.  Moreover, it allows you to safely stay connected while on a long road trip.  Nothing can pass the time like a Twitter feed as your co-pilot.
