Bluetooth Keyless

Bluetooth Keyless

We really like the story behind the genius at Bluetooth Keyless.  The company was looking to integrate today’s technologies into vehicles that may be a few years old.  Or even some new vehicles without heavy option packages.  Or ultimately make the user experience the best- you don’t have to fumble for your keys again.  Ever.  The Bluetooth Keyless device was designed by an aftermarket installation technician who decided- ‘Hey, all of these phones are coming out with Bluetooth.  Rather than just limit the technology to phone calls, let’s use it for safety and security!’  All you have to do is walk up to your car and it unlocks for you.  Walk away from it and it locks.

The company has grown significantly and is now displaying its wares among the OEM electronics manufacturers at the LA Auto Show- huge triumph for a grassroots aftermarket manufacturer.  Bottom line?  Just because you have a vehicle that is a few years old doesn’t mean you should not enjoy today’s conveniences.

Bluetooth Keyless Products on Display at the LA Auto Show

Mobile Enhancement Specialist, a leader in automotive connectivity solutions, will be exhibiting the new Premium version of its Bluetooth Keyless Products at the upcoming Top Tech Showcase during the Connected Car Expo (CCE) at the LA Auto Show. The Top Tech Showcase is an area inside of the CCE that is dedicated for entrepreneurs, small tech companies, infotainment companies, and automotive app developers.

“We’re thrilled to see the automotive industry embrace the newest connectivity technology,” states Mark Cann, owner of Mobile Enhancement Specialist. “The CCE is a great event that brings the automotive OEMs together with companies, such as ourselves, that have new and exciting products available that consumers are looking for.”

The Bluetooth Keyless products will automatically unlock your vehicle as you approach and automatically lock as to step away, without touching any buttons, 100% passive. Cann goes on to say: “There are several very unique features offered by our Bluetooth Keyless Products. First, our products are compatible will all vehicles, regardless of year, make, and model of the vehicle. Next, our Standard Version works will all Bluetooth enabled cell phones and the Premium Version works with Bluetooth Smart Ready cell phones. By using Bluetooth 4.0, the Premium Version also provides additional features including: support for multiple cell phones, notifications on the cell phone, adjustments on the lock/unlock range, as well as some manual controls.”

There is a Companion Application for the Premium Version that runs in the background of the cell phone. However, the unlock/lock process is entirely automatic and the consumer can simply leave their cell phone in their purse or pocket.

The Premium Version is the second Bluetooth Keyless Product available from MES. The Standard Version began shipping in December of last year and the Premium Version will start shipping to Retailers this December.
