When it comes to cars, for me, it has always been what is on the inside that counts. Truth be told I have always had an affinity for Mustangs, and I coveted a 65′ for my first vehicle. But that was 25 years ago. And even back then the problem with Mustangs on Long Island is the floorboards were more rotten than produce infected with mold.
So I switched gears, got a Camaro instead, and have been a bow-tie ponycar lover ever since. Of that era. 25 years later, I really dig the new Mustang more than the Camaro.
But enough about me- it’s about the tech. And the new Mustang delivers. How about the first Mustang with adaptive cruise control with collision warning. Launch control. Blind spot monitoring and cross traffic alert. Intelligent access with push button start. And remote start.
Not too bad for the once sparsely-equipped ponycar. We look forward to testing the latest and greatest when they start hitting the streets.
And know I was the only one at the New York launch more interested on what was on the inside than the outside…
