MTX is a stalwart car audio and mobile electronics manufacturer that has been producing some great products for forty years! Their new lineup of StreetAudio products looks very promising, as some of the products will be machined from billet aluminium for good looks and robust contruction. It takes the lessons learned from abusing products in the car and brings them to the portable audio arena. We’ll be looking forward to checking the products out at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show in a few weeks.
According to company President Loyd Ivey:
In addition, we announced 3 new families of products that will start shipping in early 2013. We are excited to launch a totally new line of StreetAudio® products at CES 2013, which will consist of 4 models of Over Ear acoustic monitors (iX1), 2 models of In Ear acoustic monitors (iX2), a portable, powered Thunder Puck speaker (iP1), and two iPhone/iPad® docking stations (iT1), precision milled from billet aluminum and delivering exceptional output that can fill an entire room. In addition, we are introducing our new Thunder® series amplifiers, which boast the lowest mortality rates due to customer destruction, and our 3500 and 5500 series subwoofers, which will offer some of the most powerful entry and mid level models in the marketplace.
