If you buy a new General Motors vehicle, you’re going to get free use of the General’s RemoteLink mobile app that allows you to lock and unlock doors, start your vehicle remotely, and more for the next five years.

According to the press release from GM, the free RemoteLink use will be availble to owners of OnStar-equipped 2014 Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, and Cadillac vehicles even if they elect not to pay for a subscription to other OnStar services.
